Vorwiegend findet man Tillandsien dort in Geb\u00fcschen oder W\u00e4ldern, wo sie meistens aufsitzend (epiphytisch), seltener auf Steinen (epilithisch) oder\u00a0 in der Erde (terrestrisch) wachsen.
